Terms of Use

Effective October 13, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and AstroManiac Labs LLC ("we", "us") for using Idle Voyager: the Android and iOS apps and the game at idlevoyager.com. By playing, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Idle Voyager.

1. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old to use Idle Voyager. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

2. Your account

• You can play as a guest or sign in with Google. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• Keep your guest code private, since anyone with it can sign in as you. If you lose the code for a guest account, we can't recover that account.
• Astronaut names must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, misleading, or someone else's trademark or identity. We may change or remove a name that breaks this rule.

3. Crystals and in-game items

Crystals, fuel, hyperdrive charge, ship and suit upgrades and other in-game items exist only inside the game. They have no real-world or cash value, can't be exchanged for money or anything outside the game, and can't be sold or transferred to other people. They're a limited license to use content in the game, not property you own. We may change how they work, rebalance them or reset them when needed to keep the game working and fair.

Idle Voyager is free and currently has no real-money purchases. If we add any, we'll tell you the terms before you buy.

4. Fair play

Idle Voyager rewards time you actually spend with the game open and your phone set aside. You agree not to:

• use bots, scripts, modified apps, changed device clocks or any other way to earn crystals or progress without really playing,
• exploit bugs (please report them to us instead),
• interfere with, overload or try to break into our servers or other players' accounts,
• copy, reverse engineer or resell the game, except where the law allows it,
• use Idle Voyager for anything illegal.

We may reset progress gained by breaking these rules, and suspend or close accounts that break them.

5. Your device and your wellbeing

Idle Voyager keeps your screen on while you mine, which uses battery. Plug in for long sessions if you need to. Idle Voyager is a game meant to help you spend time away from your phone. It isn't a medical, health or therapy product, and it isn't a substitute for professional advice. Don't rely on it for anything safety-related, such as alarms or emergency calls.

6. Our content

The game, including its code, art, planets, ships, astronauts, names and logos, belongs to AstroManiac Labs LLC or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to play Idle Voyager for your own non-commercial use on devices you own or control, under these terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

7. Changes and availability

We're always working on the game, so features, planets, items and balance will change. We may also pause or stop offering Idle Voyager. If we ever shut it down, we'll try to give reasonable notice in the game. Idle Voyager needs an internet connection to save progress.

8. Ending your account

You can stop playing at any time and delete your account from the game's menu. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or if we have to by law. The sections on in-game items, our content, disclaimers, liability and disputes keep applying after your account ends.

9. Disclaimer

Idle Voyager is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free or that progress will never be lost. Some places don't allow these exclusions, so they may not all apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, AstroManiac Labs LLC won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data or progress, arising from your use of Idle Voyager. Our total liability for any claim relating to Idle Voyager is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

11. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it in your local courts. Before filing a claim, please email us first so we can try to resolve it informally.

12. App store terms

If you downloaded Idle Voyager from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the store's own terms also apply. Apple and Google aren't parties to these terms and aren't responsible for the game or its support. For the iOS app, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and if the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you in the game about significant changes before they take effect. If you keep playing after that, you accept the updated terms.
